Prebiotic Sliced Chicken Fritters


Prebiotic Sliced Chicken Fritters
(Kekian Ayam Iris Prebiotik)

Preparation & cooking time: around 1 hour
(Waktu persiapan & memasak: sekitar 1 jam)
Serves (Porsi): 5 medium size of chicken fritters (5 buah kekian ayam ukuran sedang)  

Note (Catatan): increase all ingredients proportionally if you want to make more.
(Anda dapat menambah kuantitas bahan-bahan secara proporsional bila ingin menambah porsinya)

Ingredients (Bahan-bahan):

• 2 cloves of garlic (2 siung bawang putih)
• 1/4 onion (1/4 bawang bombay)
• 4 chicken eggs (4 butir telur ayam)
• 500 gr of minced chicken (500 gr ayam cincang)
• 4 dessert spoons of tapioca flour (4 sendok makan tepung tapioka)
• salt and pepper powder according to your taste (garam dan lada secukupnya)
• 1/2 tea spoon of bicarbonate soda (1/2 sendok teh bikarbonat soda)
• extra virgin olive oil for frying (minyak zaitun yang extra virgin untuk menggoreng)

Cooking method (Cara memasak):

• Mash and grind / blend the garlic and onion into a paste (Ulek/ blender bawang putih dan bawang bombay)
• Put the minced chicken in a bowl then mix the garlic onion paste, salt, pepper and the bicarbonate soda. After that crack the eggs one by one and stir it evenly. 
(Masukkan ayam cincang di dalam mangkuk lalu campurkan bawang putih dan bawang bombay yang sudah dihaluskan, garam, lada bubuk dan bikarbonat diikuti. Setelah itu masukkan telur ayam satu persatu dan aduk rata).
• Put in the tapioca flour and stir it evenly.
(Masukkan tepung tapioka dan aduk rata).
• Fry the mixed ingredients into 5 portions at a time, making 5 fritters until the colour changes to a light yellow (Goreng adonannya menjadi 5 buah adonan kekian ayam lalu goreng hingga berwarna agak kekuningan).
• Slice each chicken fritter to your preferred size and then fry them again until golden brown (Potong kekian ayamnya sesuai keinginan kemudian goreng lagi hingga berwarna kuning kecoklatan).
